Hi everyone, If anyone receives an email from Rebekah Jones at Unicorn Theatre that looks like the below, please let me know. Based on the language choices, I'm suspecting the email address has been hacked and this is spam, so I'm not opening the attachment - please don't either. I know her but there's no reason for her to be sending anything like this to me. I'm going to write to her in a fresh email to check in. APAM Visual Story

Hi all As requested in the team meeting here FYI is the Visual Story I put together for APAM. Please ignore the design, Claire’s in the process of prettifying it in another doc, I’m just sending this draft PDF so you can see the content and I can cross it off my list. Visual stories are documents (often videos, even better) that tell the ’story’ of attending an event or performance, from arrival to navigating the venue, what you’re likely to experience from a sights/sounds/mood point of view, during the event and after. It’s intentionally written in plain, relatively informal language. These are immensely useful to delegates for all kinds of reasons, eg sensory, anxiety, mobility. One APAM delegate uses forearm crutches to get around and has some other health considerations, and we discussed things like walking distances, stairs/steps, heavy doors, navigating buffet service, networking setup and venues, distance between catering stations and places to sit, where places to sit were, coach or taxi pick up and drop off points, and more. So you can see how images and video can be invaluable in providing a good sense of how to prepare for each day/venue. We do also have the Accessibility Guide, but the feedback we’ve gotten (that I got again yesterday) is that something like a Visual Story can be much more useful in a practical sense. Granted the attached isn’t hugely detailed, this one is a bit of a pilot / tester I’ve put together with what we had on hand. Next time I’ll join in on site visits to see the venues for myself and get images and walkthrough videos, and it will level up. APAM registration close & late regos procedure

Hi all I wanted to summarise the procedure for late registration requests as we will all no doubt be asked. Please have a read and we can talk about this if needed in the APAM meeting tomorrow. APAM registrations close Tuesday 10th February at 6pm AWST. The current registration form link will still work but will be replaced with a landing page saying “registrations closed” and directing people to apam@paca. For requests to register coming through after then: * Requests must be emailed to apam(a)paca.org.au. No Teams messages please. * Sam or I will pick it up. Most likely Sam, but Sam sing out if you are feeling swamped and I’ll jump in. * Request is forwarded to: Virginia + Kath (for a decision) + Eddie (capacity/catering). Sam for ease pls add APAM LATE REG to the start of the email subject line thanks. * Decision gets made. Log it in the blue “Late Regos” tab in the APAM Master: [https://res-2.df.onecdn.static.microsoft/files/fabric-cdn-prod_20251010.003…] 1. Questions to discuss during meeting: * Do we want to charge a Late Reg fee? I have not bothered to check Ts & Cs before asking this I just think we did it for APAX regos. APAM delegate Swapcard launch - FAQs

Hi all, The APAM Swapcard delegate platform is all ready and slick and perfect and beautiful and functional. Huge thanks to all who made it so (big ups Claire in particular). Delegate comms - “Welcome to Swapcard!” - are scheduled to go out at 1145 WA time / 1445 Sydney/Melb. Right now! This is an email from the Swapcard system itself. Attached for reference what it will look like (imagine it has branding at the top, because it does). So time to play hypothetical FAQs. * How does it work? How do I access Swapcard? * You’ll get a welcome email with a ‘Magic Link’ in it that automatically logs you in to the system. It’ll work on desktop and in the Swapcard mobile app. Keep the email so you can find the link again if you need to, but Swapcard won’t log you out once you’re in. There’s plenty of details in the email. * I didn’t get the email. * Check your junk folder. * Do you have a full event registration? Networking Only registrations don’t include access to Swapcard. * I still don’t have it. Can you resend the email? * Yes. Redirect them or forward to apam(a)paca.org.au and we’ll look at it. * I need to change the email address associated with my APAM registration. * That’s fine. It may have implications for your Swapcard account though as they’re linked. Forward to apam@paca and we’ll look. * What are my login details for Swapcard? * We don’t have access to your log in details as the account is yours. * If you’ve used Swapcard before with the email address you’re using for APAM, the APAM event will appear in your Swapcard account.
