APAM reg notification emails issue

by Nate Newell

Hi all There’s a known issue with the APAM ’new registration’ notification emails not coming through to staff. They stopped working around the 23rd. I’m trying to get it fixed but it is a slow process as Launchpad’s people don’t know what’s wrong either. Rest assured the registration form and system is still working per normal and delegates are still receiving confirmation emails and invoices/receipts after they register. I have just got one myself when I did a test rego. The notification emails aren’t getting caught in spam or our quarantine net so it isn’t that. Will update when it’s fixed but also you’ll know as the emails will start flowing again… Cheers Nate Nate Newell (he/him) Operations Manager | PAC Australia | (08) 9221 8992 | paca.org.au<https://paca.org.au/> Boorloo / Perth GMT+8 [signature_3915609194]<http://apam.org.au/> I gratefully acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, on whose lands I live and work, and pay my respects to Elders past and present. I’m sending this email at a time convenient to me. I don’t expect you to read, action or reply to it outside of your working hours.

Avolio is being retired - new system alert

by Nate Newell

Hi team, An update that the Avolio registration platform is changing to something called Launchpad effective tomorrow, Tues 27th January. “Gee, Nate, wish you’d told us sooner.” Alas, they emailed Eddie and I about it late Friday afternoon. Their announcement provided no real information on it all, so any question you might have you can safely bet Eddie and I have the same question. Including such gems as “But how does one log in to this new platform?” So if you go to look at Avolio in the morning and it doesn’t work, this’ll be why. If you look at Avolio tomorrow and it’s calling itself Launchpad and looks completely different, this’ll also be why. Sam, on the off chance there’s an issue with the system while you’re getting queries for reg adjustments, please just take messages and I’ll sort with you asap. You can say our system’s down for maintenance but we’ll look at it asap. Aiming to provide you all with a proper update of some kind at the APAM team meeting tomorrow. We have been reassured that the end-user experience of the live APAM registration form will be unchanged. Small mercies. Yours in fun and games, Nate Nate Newell (he/him) Operations Manager | PAC Australia | (08) 9221 8992 | paca.org.au<https://paca.org.au/> Boorloo / Perth GMT+8 [signature_3915609194]<http://apam.org.au/> I gratefully acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, on whose lands I live and work, and pay my respects to Elders past and present. Hi team, I'll use the official name as its appropriate in this communication, but acknowledge that many staff may refer to Australia Day in other ways. The Australia Day national public holiday is scheduled for Monday 2026 January and available all staff. Staff are welcome to nominate another day off in lieu and work on 26 January, noting standard rates of pay apply to those that choose to work on 26 January. This offer applies for Australia Day only. Scam warning - fake PAC invoices

by Nate Newell

Hey team, We’ve had some recent funny business with fake PAC invoices being distributed by scammers which I wanted to flag with you. Shout out to Sam/Maria for identifying it. A reminder that if you encounter anything suspicious—invoices, log in links, requests for bank details or password resets—that you’re not sure about to let myself and Lynda know, and we’ll look into it. If you’re uncertain, never click on any links supplied. Here’s the recent fake invoice: [Screenshot 2026-01-14 at 14.13.15.png] For ref, this is what PAC invoices actually look like currently: [PAC 2026 invoice example.jpg] See attached too an APAM invoice generated by our registration system, which is a bit different. APAX reg invoices are virtually identical, other than the branded letterhead. Let’s all light a candle and manifest a miserable existence/fate for the boring scammers with nothing better to do.
