APAX26 registration opening info

by Nate Newell

Hi all, APAX26 registrations open tomorrow (Tues). Woot. Team effort but big thanks to Eddie, Kath and Claire in particular for helping it get here. Disregard as needed, but here is a bunch of info, and Sam we’ll have a proper chat tomorrow about a couple qs you might get to admin@ and how best to address in Launchpad. * Registration form is here: https://na.launchpad.swapcard.com/apax2026/registrations * If you want to do a test reg, use a fake email address eg cecile+1(a)paca.org.au, cecile+2(a)paca.org.au and so on with each new test rego. It will still email you the confirmation when you submit. Technology. * We have tested it to death, so requesting no feedback at this stage, but if you do encounter something buggy or Bad I do want to hear about it of course. * Staff log ins - the Launchpad back end is here: https://na.admin.launchpad.swapcard.com/nalp/apax2026/reports/Registration_… * Enter your PAC email address and click “Forgot password” to trigger the reset. Your profile and permissions are all copied over from APAX25. * Staff regos * When you do your APAX registration with your real email, the registration form asks you to set a password; this will replace your Launchpad back end password next time you log in. * Please wait for Lynda/Kath to confirm staff travel for Brisbane before registering. * Reports - all report templates have been copied over from 2025, with some tweaks/improvements from Eddie and I. * Promo codes * Promo code tracker is in the Reg folder here: [https://res-2.df.onecdn.static.microsoft/files/fabric-cdn-prod_20251010.003…] Promo (discount) codes tracking.xlsx<https://apacaperth.sharepoint.com/:x:/s/APAX/IQCizIQztUWcTZeUs5L8QwuGAZzznC…> * I’ve built a handful to get us started, I am sure there are gaps. * Promo code creation/distribution approval: Kath and Virginia, cc Eddie * Promo code needed for support workers, interpreters, etc: Nate and Eddie * Promo codes for sponsors: Lynda * New promo code build required: ask Nate once approved as above. * When fielding queries from members etc: * Check the Registration webpage or point them to it for gems including: [Screenshot 2026-05-11 at 16.15.08.png] https://apax.org.au/event-info/registration/ * Check the FAQs page or point them to that page (this will be updated in the morning): https://apax.org.au/about/faqs/ * Otherwise direct it to admin(a)paca.org.au and Sam will sort or redirect to Eddie/me. Thanks all. Onwards. Correspondence for board papers

by Katherine Connor

Hi everyone, Can you please make a note to send me any correspondence for noting by the board at their next meeting, by Wednesday 27 May? This should include any contracts, agreements, formal notifications, letters of support, legal docs etc sent or received since 25 January to date. Note, we do cluster certain correspondence e.g. "APAX Notifications - various", "APAM International Invitations - various", so I don't need that level of detail for any correspondence which is done en masse, but I do need specifics of any legal documents, contracts, formal letters etc. And a reminder, if you are writing any letters of support, please ensure they are filed in Admin - General Correspondence OUT - Letters of Support - and that you've checked in with your direct report prior to confirming, to ensure no conflicts exist, or if there is other information you may need to be aware of. Federal 4YF coming around again...!

by Katherine Connor

Hi Team, Just a heads up, scarily the process for 4 year federal organisation funding through Creative Australia is coming around again! It is a long process, which is probably why it doesn't feel like that long since the last one.. Just wanted to flag this for everyone as many of the companies we work with throuh APAX in particular, and some members, will be starting to think about this. https://creative.gov.au/investments-opportunities/four-year-investment-orga… PAC Australia is not eligible for this, and even if we were, I don't believe we would be competitive in the current environment as an organisation that doesn't make work, but I'll attend the webinar on 14 May to get the background and hear any questions coming from the sector in that process so we can keep our finger on the pulse on any shifts/changes/impacts etc. If you are hearing anything on the ground as well, please raise at the team meeting - with state funding so volatile at the moment, the pressure is going to be even more intense around federal org funding, so it's important we're all mindful of this over the coming months. Cheers, Katherine Katherine Connor (she/her) Executive Director | PAC Australia | +61 (0) 419 428 412 | paca.org.au<http://www.paca.org.au/> [cid:image001.gif@01DCDED6.C3189CD0]<https://apax.org.au/> [A red circle with a white letter f in it Description automatically generated]<https://www.facebook.com/pacaustralia> [signature_2482306534] <https://www.linkedin.com/company/performing-arts-connections-australia> [signature_1587814422] <https://apaca.us15.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=17268242394b2278ede3a3716&id…> [signature_883882369] <https://paca.org.au/members/login.php> [signature_249193979] <https://paca.org.au/resources/touringcharter/> I acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation, on whose land I live and work, and pay respects to their Elders past and present.
