Dear Members, Just when you thought the ongoing survey onslaught was over... here's a really important one we'd love our presenting members take 10 minutes to complete. https://apaca.formstack.com/forms/presenteroutlook23 This time last year we asked our presenter members to provide an update on programming, audience trends, and other critical issues that were affecting your day to day work as well as your outlook for the next 12-36 months. The results were shared with all our members, used in our advocacy work, and presented back to the sector at our National Presenter Outlook webinar in late March. That session saw our highest-ever attendance for an online presentation - the interest in the information that only presenters can provide is HUGE. (We will run a similar session again this year on 22nd March - links to follow soon.) It's important that we're able to track what has changed in the last twelve months, and provide current information to our sector partners, and to you. This year's survey asks about audiences, programming, and touring and presenting costs... and it gives you the opportunity to tell us specifically what issues are keeping you up at night. Session #5 - Working in the LG Context

Hi everyone, Please see attached session notes and speaker outlines for this Wednesday's PTP session - Working in the Local Government Context. In this session, speakers will outline the LG expectations, creating relevance for Council AND community and following a LG Arts and Cultural Plan. The very original program had Francesca Valmorbida join us as a speaker in this session (you might remember her if you attended APAX online last year) however Francesca is no longer able to join us, so we'll welcome the equally wonderful and wise Elizabeth Robertson from LGNSW, alongside your colleagues (and leaders in presenting) Belinda Gibson from Glen Street Theatre and Rachel Healy, outgoing Artistic Director at Adelaide Festival and transitional Performing Arts Director at the Sutherland Shire in NSW. Even if you're not currently working in an LG context, presenting is inextricably linked to all three levels of government and this session will cover highly relevant material for now, and for future presenting positions you might hold. PTP Session #4 - Future Proofing

Hi everyone, Looking forward to seeing you all for tomorrow's session. The usual session outline and speakers are late this week as unfortunately Meghan Bourke from the Arts Wellbeing Collective has had to withdraw due to COVID and we've been looking at whether any future speakers could be brought forward. We'll welcome Meghan to a later session. This has opened more time for the group to start discussing the projects you are bringing to the PTP. We'll outline the revised line up in tomorrow's intros, but we're looking forward to welcoming two arts superstars - Penny Hargrave from Wangaratta and Kevin du Preez from Monkey Baa Theatre Company - as tomorrow's main presenters.
