Subject: [PAC Australia Board] Confidential - Proposed Comms schedule re Sydney PAC Office

Hello everyone,
Lynda and I have pulled together a proposed comms schedule and stakeholder map for advising necessary parties about the opening of a PAC Australia Sydney office, and my relocation.
In the very broadest terms, we’re looking to make a larger announcement at APAX, which won’t include finite detail on exact Sydney office location, new addresses etc, but rather using the opportunity to flag to our attending members and
the broader sector about the plan to establish a Sydney office. APAX seems an opportune moment to do so, rather than waiting until the AGM in October. So the rest of the comms plan works backward from APAX in an “embargoed” capacity, then everything post-APAX
is considered public.
(The relocation is not that big a deal that I’m overly concerned about any leaking during the embargo period, as long as we’ve notified the priority stakeholders such as key funders related to APAM.)
The detail is in the attached – I’m looking for the board to provide any feedback or red flags, or in principle-support for us to start rolling this out.
Given a lot of messy staff schedules at the moment, the current timeline would require us to start the staff consultation next week which, even if there is any further consideration of the broader stakeholder comms, feels appropriate to
bring them in as soon as we can.
Please let me know if you have any thoughts on the plan.
Thank you, as always,
Katherine
