Subject: [PAC Team] APAM delegate Swapcard launch - FAQs

Hi all,

The APAM Swapcard delegate platform is all ready and slick and perfect and beautiful and functional. Huge thanks to all who made it so (big ups Claire in particular).

Delegate comms - “Welcome to Swapcard!” - are scheduled to go out at 1145 WA time / 1445 Sydney/Melb. Right now! This is an email from the Swapcard system itself. Attached for reference what it will look like (imagine it has branding at the top, because it does).

So time to play hypothetical FAQs.

How does it work? How do I access Swapcard?

You’ll get a welcome email with a ‘Magic Link’ in it that automatically logs you in to the system. It’ll work on desktop and in the Swapcard mobile app. Keep the email so you can find the link again if you need to, but Swapcard won’t log you out once you’re in. There’s plenty of details in the email.

I didn’t get the email.

Check your junk folder.
Do you have a full event registration? Networking Only registrations don’t include access to Swapcard.

I still don’t have it. Can you resend the email?

Yes. Redirect them or forward to apam@paca.org.au and we’ll look at it.

I need to change the email address associated with my APAM registration.

That’s fine. It may have implications for your Swapcard account though as they’re linked. Forward to apam@paca and we’ll look.

What are my login details for Swapcard?

We don’t have access to your log in details as the account is yours.
If you’ve used Swapcard before with the email address you’re using for APAM, the APAM event will appear in your Swapcard account. The Magic Link will direct you into it.
If you’ve not used Swapcard before, or you did but with a different email address, click the link in the APAM welcome email and you’re in.
If you want to log in with an email and password but aren’t sure of details, open up Swapcard, enter your email and click ‘Forgot password’.

How do i book for [insert show in APAM program]?

Ticket links and booking details are in the sessions listed in Swapcard.

I can’t see the show I want in that list.

Delegates get Perth Festival discounts in general so check their website for their full program. Otherwise that’s all folks.

How do i access the Perth Festival discount?

Info in the link above or via the “Discounts” page in the app.

Does bookmarking a show in the app guarantee me a ticket?

No. Book tickets using the details provided.

How do i-

Y’know what, no. No APAM for you. No.

Look otherwise any queries can be redirected to apam@paca.org.au, ideally not the admin@ email as we try to keep church and state separate so to speak. Sam, Cecile and I have access to this inbox.
