Dear NAISDA Friends and Supporters

On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Tahni Froudist as NAISDA’s next Chief Executive Officer. Tahni will commence in the role from 30 November 2026.

Following an extensive and rigorous recruitment process, Tahni brings the experience, values and vision to build upon NAISDA’s strong foundations, lead with confidence and commitment, and ensure community and First Nations creativity remain central in NAISDA’s future.

The appointment marks an important milestone in NAISDA’s planned leadership transition. On behalf of the Board, I want to acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of outgoing CEO Kim Walker AM and COO Debra Schleger, who conclude their executive appointments on 30 November. Their leadership and dedication have helped shape the NAISDA we know today.

Thank you for your ongoing support and connection to NAISDA. Please join me in warmly welcoming our new Chief Executive Officer to NAISDA.

Warm regards

Mayrah Sonter
Chairperson
